Thanks to the ten-year collaboration with Gianluca Montiron - we remember the sponsorships in MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 of riders of the caliber of Andrea Dovizioso, Johann Zarco and Shinya Nakano - this year too Vuemme is one of the official sponsors of the prestigious Yamaha single-brand championship. The Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup is a new championship for riders aged between 14 and 20, and is the ideal first step for young riders on the "Road to WorldSBK". The overall champion will earn a place on the grid of the 2023 FIM Superport 300 World Championship with the WorldSSP300 bLU cRU team. We are honored to be partners for the second year of the champions of the future, in a championship where young talents can gain experience and show off in front of the whole world. This year, 12 countries are represented with drivers entering the championship from all corners of the world, including Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. Brazil arrives with five riders, while youngsters from Indonesia, Thailand, Australia and the USA demonstrate the global appeal of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup. From Europe, four riders from Spain, three from Italy and from France, two from Poland and one from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.
Gianluca Montiron – Organizer of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup “We have made a good step forward compared to last year. In 2021, we had a very competitive group, and this year the championship promises to be at a high level again. We have some drivers who come with good experience – from Italy and Spain especially – while we have some guys who have come back to help the rookies during this test. We have received interest not only from Europe, but from all over the world, with drivers from Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, USA and Australia, who also look very competitive.”
